This Susan Bates Silvalume Crochet Hook Set comes in a pouch with 6 different sized hooks (Sizes F-5 to K-10 ½). The different sizes go with whatever size yarn I have. If you’re just starting out they are easier to use than other brands and once you get going, you can go pretty quickly. Because these hooks are very smooth and don’t snag your yarn or thread. This is the set I purchased when my friend first taught me to crochet and I am glad.

These are the best crochet hooks that I’ve found. This set is made with durable aluminum that is polished for extra smoothness. I see other hooks that I’d like to try, but honestly I haven’t just because of how I love these ones. A friend of mine has a different set of hooks and somehow she ends up snagging the yarn, not every stitch, but often enough for me to not like them.
