The uber crafty hosts of the DIY Network’s popular show, Creative Juice, took their unique crafty outlook on life and put it in print in their book, Creative Juice. Creative Juice, written by Cathie Filian and Steve Piacenza, is 128 pages with 45 re-crafting projects to make with recycled stuff. The book is a paperback making it affordable for all crafters…and this is a book for all crafters! Whether you’ve been crafting for years or you’re just getting started, this will still be an awesome craft book for you. You’re not going to find that any of the projects in the book are too elementary or too difficult. The book was written for grown-ups but kids will love the projects too! This book instantly became my favorite craft book as soon as I started turning the pages!

The best part about Creative Juice is that it is chock full of clear, color photos and illustrations. Each project includes a short summary of what the project is, a list of what you need, easy to follow instructions and tips. Some of my favorite craft projects included in the book are: Word Game Funky Frames, Bleached Rocker Tees, Spicy Tea Soap and the incredible Folk art Hubcap Candelabra.

After you read flip through Creative Juice and see the awesome projects that these two clever and creative minds have come up with, you’re going to be inspired to take your crafting to the next level! And you’ll definitely think twice the next time you go to throw something away! You’ll be asking yourself, “Hey, what could I make with this?”

Erin McFeeters is the Beading Mom behind http://www.jewelrybyerin.com where she sells her handcrafted jewelry designs. She’s a mother of two under two who, without crafting, would have lost her marbles years ago! You can get to know her better by following her on her blog at http://beadingmom.blogspot.com.
